Dear Students:

As we prepare for a great 2010-2011 school year, we welcome you to HGHS top notch “A”cademic Powerhouse.

We have been working very hard this summer to develop a curriculum that will fit each of your needs. During the 7th period class, we will be using “Impact”, which is a series of workbooks that targets your specific reading needs and addresses all benchmarks that are tested in the FCAT.

You have been placed in the class based on your FCAT score. This class will be taught immediately after school from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, beginning on Monday, August 30, 2010, and ending on Thursday, April 7, 2011.

This will only work with your full commitment and dedication.
